Morgenster production largely unaffected by fires
On 3 January 2017 Morgenster Estate experienced two fires, one from the west and one from the east. Approximately 50 ha of uncultivated land on the Estate was burnt. Fortunately, under 10 percent of olive orchards and vineyards were affected by fire.

Amor DiVino means “Love of wine”. Giulio Bertrand, the owner of Morgenster, has chosen this name for his new wine and olive club. “It describes how we feel about the Bordeaux and Italian-styled wines that we make here, and also the pleasure that people have when drinking them”, he says.

Release of Morgenster White 2014 - Melt in the mouth balance and complexity
Morgenster has released Morgenster White 2014, the Estate’s fourth vintage of its white Bordeaux blend designed to complement the cellar’s two Bordeaux reds. It was produced in the classic style from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (58%) and Semillon grapes from vineyards in the Schaapenberg area within a kilometre of Morgenster’s cellar.
